EU Enlargement Commisioner, Oliver Varhelyi has confirmed that the EU will allocate 38 million euros to assist health sectors in Western Balkans in combating coronavirus.
Varhelyi added that the EU is also planning to reallocate 373 million euros for social and economic recovery.
“I wrote to the Prime Ministers of our Western Balkans partners to confirm we stand by the region in the fight against coronavirus outbreak. We are allocating 38 million euros for immediate support to health sectors and foreseeing over 373 million euros reallocation for social and economic recovery”, Varhelyi wrote on Twitter. TemA
