Albania has almost doubled its exports with China for the month of December. According to the latest figures released by the country’s office for statistics, INSTAT, in December 2020, the value of goods which were exported to China was 613 million leks, up 266 million leks on December 2019.
On the other hand, imports from China also saw an increase in December. According to INSTAT, imports from China in 2020 were 5,3 billion leks as opposed to 5,2 billion leks in December 2019.
What could have contributed in the growth of exports with a country which seems “to have everything” is the agreement signed with the Chinese government a few months ago for the export of Albanian honey.
