Covid-19: NM to receive eight thousand vaccine doses from Serbia

Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Zoran Zaev announced on Monday that his country will receive eight thousand vaccines against Covid-19 form Serbia.

In a message on social media, the Prime Minister of North Macedonia said the batch was promised by the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic following a conversation that the two state leaders had. Zaev also said that other details will be unveiled in the days to come.

“Vucic confirmed to me that Serbia will help us with a quantity of vaccines, which we will be purchased by us,” Zaev said.

Meanwhile, North Macedonia will use the first doses of the vaccine to inoculate frontline workers, people with chronic diseases and other vulnerable groups. TemA
