Chairman of the largest opposition party in the country, the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha has reacted to statements made by Prime Minister Edi Rama in Parliament on Monday saying that the past eight years of his time in office have been filled with lies, failures, theft, poverty and for this, the opposition leader says, it’s not the EU that should be blamed.
According to the opposition leader, among other countries of the region, Albania has the largest number of businesses which have had to close.
“Among all countries of the region, Albania has the highest number of businesses which have had to close, the highest number of people who lost their job. Albania is the country which offers the smallest financial aid and has the most corrupt government in Europe,” Basha said.
Once again, the democrat leader says, Rama is blaming the others for the worst government Albania has ever had.
“The EU has been there for us in good and bad days. Albanians will always be grateful,” he added.
The opposition leader also said that after April 25 elections, Albania will once again be on the path of EU integration. TemA
