Direct investments in Albania were up by 19,4% during the fourth quarter of last year, the Bank of Albania announced today.
According to the country’s central bank, investments are mainly concentrated in those sectors of economy that make an important contribution in the country’s economic growth, on employment, on exports and manufacturing capacities.
According to the central bank, energy and hydrocarbons lead with around 7,8% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
Meanwhile, during the last quarter of 2018, net direct investments financed 66,6% of current deficit. TemA
