EU urges Kosovo to form new gov’t

The European Union has once again urged authorities in Kosovo to form a new government and elect a new president following the holding of general elections held a week ago.

The EU has reacted in a message posted on social media following a meeting held by the head of EU Delegation to Kosovo, Tomas Szunyug with the leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj.

In its message, the EU says it’s in the interest all political parties to be able to progress on the European path and on full normalization of relations with Serbia.

“EU ambassador to Kosovo had a good conversation with Ramush Haradinaj. It is important to form a government and to elect president quickly. It is in interest of all political parties to be able to progress on the European path and on full normalization of relations with Serbia,” the message reads. TemA
