The country’s office for statistics, INSTAT has released figures about wages and unemployment.
These figures suggest that in the second quarter of the year, the average gross salary in the private sector has gone up to 52,645 leks. Wages gave increased in those sectors where there’s a shortage of staff, such as the hospitality sector, but they’ve dropped in sectors such as construction, where there’s a high demand for work.
