President of European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker said that North Macedonia and Albania have made significant progress.
In a speech before MEPs, Juncker said that the promises made to Western Balkan countries must be honoured.
“North Macedonia and Albania have made significant progress. This is the reason why I, president Tusk and newly elected president von der Leyen wrote a letter to member countries, urging them to keep the promise made to Western Balkan countries, in particular to Albania and North Macedonia. The Prespa agreement between North Macedonia and Greece and the courageous reforms that Albania has launched must allow us to open membership talks”, the head of the European Commission said. TemA
