During the presentation of the bill on civil protection, PM Edi Rama declared today that there’ll be restructuring in place, but also sanctions for offenders, private and state institutions alike.
The PM declared that this is a bill which aims to be as close as possible to the communities that face natural disasters.
“This bill makes us optimistic that there will be a clear distribution of responsibilities and roles. There will be clear sanctions for each institutions or private company”, Rama said.
Meanwhile, he added that local government cannot assume the same responsibility as the owner of a restaurant. The PM also said that today there’s a well-defined legal basis and a strategy in place to reduce risks coming from natural disasters. TemA
