In his address to MPs on Monday, before the voting of the agreement reached with Pfizer company, which will supply Albania with the necessary doses of the vaccine against the coronavirus, Prime Minister Edi Rama also spoke about the government’s ambitions about the process of vaccination.
Making a summary of the situation in the region, the head of the government said that in the best case scenario, the vaccination of the entire population will take 14 months to be achieved and in the worst case scenario, this process can take up to 24 months.
The head of the government also explained that there will soon be vaccination centres in Shkodra and Vlora. These centres, the PM said, will enable the elderly and frontline workers to receive the jab. TemA
