After presenting his party’s programme on economy, youth, healthcare and social welfare, the leader of the Democratic Party has presented his plan for tourism, considering it one of the main sectors of the economy.
The leader of the Democratic Party premised that the right investments will be made to boost capacities, employment and attract tourists in the country.
“I vow that we will increase direct contribution of tourism in our economy from 8% to 10%. 80 thousand people will work in this sector as opposed to 40 thousand people working now. This will change our economy. We will also double accommodation capacities, thus welcoming more tourists. As a result, more jobs will be created,” Basha said.
Meanwhile, the democrat leader also promised that the number of foreign tourists who will visit the country will grow by 15%. TemA
