President Ilir Meta has once again commented on the award granted by the US Department of State for the Albanian judge, Ardian Dvorani as champion of anti-corruption. The head of the state has accused PM Edi Rama of giving out commendations for the so called “Rama-reform”.
“The PM has given out commendations for his anti-corruption and his successes, but this hardly surprises me. These are similar to the commendations given out by the Communist Party,” the president said.
Meanwhile, the head of the state said his relations with the United States are excellent.
“My relations with the United States are excellent. I do not lie and I have never violated US law,” Meta said.
