Roman Bath discovered in Belsh

Another attraction will be added to Belsh, where one of the earliest Illyrian settlements is found. An archeological discovery in the administrative unit of Rrasa was made in the past few days, where the ruins of an ancient Roman bath were found.
The discovery was initially made by the owner of the land where the bath was found, who then notified local authorities. A representative of the Institute of Cultural Monuments went to visit the site and it is believed from preliminary estimates that the ruins belong to a Roman bath.
A group of experts has started working on the unearthing of the whole object and its evaluation.
This is not the first time archeological objects have been found in the Belsh area. About 24 objects that were found years ago on Lake Seferani are now on display at the Archaeological Museum.
