Two Covid infections and zero deaths in the past day

Authorities in Albania reported three new cases of coronavirus and zero deaths on Sunday. The total number of tests that were carried out for the past 24 hour period was 1693.

Meanwhile, eight people have recovered in the past day. The number of active cases in the country stands at 118.

The situation in hospital has also seen a further improvement with only five patients being treated for Covid relates symptoms.

Despite the significant improvement of the situation, authorities have urged the population to remain alert and adhere to the rules in place. On the other hand, the vaccination rollout continues. On Saturday, another 50 thousand doses of the Coronavac vaccine arrived at Rinas international airport, bringing the total number of doses received so far to one millon.TemA
