PM Rama to meet Chancellor Merkel today

Albanian PM, Edi Rama will meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel today in a summit on Western Balkans which will be hosted in the German capital, Berlin.

The protocol was confirmed yesterday in a statement released by the German chancellery.

“A meeting on Western Balkans will be held on Monday afternoon at the Federal Chancellery at the invitation of Federal Chancellor and French President, Mr. Emmanuel Macron. First, the Chancellor will receive the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Zoran Zaev. Afterwards, the Chancellor will also hold a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama”, the statement reads.

This afternoon, a meeting will be hosted by French President and German Chancellor with heads of states and heads of governments from Western Balkan countries.
