Gazeta britanike Daily Telegraph i kërkoi ndjesë zonjës së parë amerikane, Melania Trump dhe ra dakord t’i paguajë një dëmshpërblim të majmë, për një artikull të publikuar javën e shkuar.
Gazeta tha se kryeartikulli i revistës së të shtunës me titullin “Misteri i Melanias”, përmbante disa deklarata false. Mes tyre përfshiheshin fakti se Trump po i shkonte keq karriera si modele para se të takonte bashkëshortin e saj dhe deklarata se ajo qau në natën që i shoqi u zgjodh president i SHBA.
Daily Telegraph pranoi se këto deklarata nuk duhet të ishin publikuar.
Gazeta gjithashtu do të paguajë shpenzimet për gjyqin nga ana e zonjës Trump.
