…Nga viti 2005,nje mbasdite ne Manhattan me qelloi te njihem me nje amerikan qe sapo kishte blerë nje banese aty,ku une punoj…
Erdhi dhe me zgjati doren duke u prezantuar ;
-“Pershendetje une jam Majkell,(Michael)”…
-“Pershendetje,une jam Iliri”-i thashe dhe si gjithmone kur prezantohem me amerikane nxitova t’ia shpjegoj emrin tim,germat e emrit tim,nje per nje “I-L-I-R”,(aj-ell-aj-ar),sepse nuk me pelqen kur disa me thone gabimisht “Ilia”…
-“Ilir”-me tha ai per habine time,-“Ti qenke shqiptar!”…
Une mbeta…
-“Eshte nje nga emrat me popullore ne Shqiperi!”-me tha,-”E njoh shume mire Shqiperine dhe di pak shqip!Kemi jetuar atje bashke me gruan per dy vjet ne Shqiperi!Kemi kujtime kaq te bukura atje,njerez shume te mire,vend i jashtezakonshem.”…
Nuk e fsheha qe me erdhi shume mire!…E falenderova per konsideraten dhe e pyeta:
-“Po si qelloi qe jetove ne Shqiperi?”…
-Kemi jetuar ne Tirane per dy vjet!”-me shpjegoi,-“kemi punuar atje te dy per nje organizem ekonomik…Gjate atyre dy viteve kemi shetitur gjithe vendin anembane,Jug dhe Veri,imagjino kam qene ne Burgajet te Matit,ne Palorto Gjirokaster dhe te Kulla ku ka lindur Berisha!”…
Qeshëm…
-“Kam mesuar pak shqip gjate kohes qe jetuam atje…Gruaja ime e di me mire shqipen sepse ajo kishte me shume mundesi te mesonte sepse me kohe u be edhe mike me mesuesen qe kishim dhe dilnin bashke.”
Mbas disa ditesh zoteria amerikan erdhi dhe me takoi bashke me te shoqen…
-“Per mua shqiptaret jane njerezit me te mire qe mund te gjenden!”-me tha e shoqja,-”kam kujtime aq te bukura ne ate vend!Kemi qene gjithe kohes te rrethuar me dashuri,ngado qe shkonim!”…
-Me mungon Tirana!”- me tha e shoqja,-“Ah ato mengjeset me ato kafet ekspres,mblidheshim disa gra dhe ndanim te rejat e dites!”…
-“Te rejat dhe thashethemet”-shtoi duke qeshur…
-“Kemi jetuar ne Tirane kur kushtet ishin ashtu si ishin ne vitin 1992,ti e di mire”-me thane-“Te apartmenti ku jetonim kishim dush me skaldobanje…Duhej te beje kujdes kur mbaroje dush se mund te nxiheshe nga tymi i vajgurit qe ngrohte ujin.”…
-“Kemi punuar me vone ne Çeki dhe tjera vende te Europes Lindore”-me thane,-“por askund nuk e kemi gjetur ate mikpritje qe e gjetem ne Shqiperi!”…
-“Vetem kur punuam disa muaj ne Kosove!”-nxitoi te sqaronte e shoqja,-“Edhe ne Prishtine per pak kohe qe punuam njesoj si ne Tirane!’…
I takoja shpesh se blenë banesen aty dhe i shihja shpesh,me kerkuan ti sjell femijet qe te njihen me femijet e tyre…
-“Duam qe femijet tane te njohin shqiptare!”-me thane,-“ U kemi folur aq shume per Shqiperine dhe shqiptaret!”…
…Ne vitin 2008 rastesisht shoh nje artikull ne gazeten “The New York Times” me foton e zotnise qe njihja…Po ai ishte Michael Froman!…Michael B. Froman lindur më 20 gusht 1962,një jurist amerikan,qe kishte qene shok klase me Obamen ne Harvard…Mbante disa doktoratura dhe tituj te marre ne Universitetin Princeton,ne Oksford Angli dhe Harvard…Kur kishin qene ne shkolle bashke me Obamen kishin nxjerre bashke “Revisten Juridike” te atij Universiteti… Ne mandatin e pare te tij si president,Obama e zgjodhi Asistent te Presidentit të Shteteve të Bashkuara dhe zëvendës këshilltar te sigurisë kombëtare për Çështjet Ekonomike Ndërkombëtare…Ne Maj 2013 Presidenti Obama e emëroi Michael Froman si Përfaqësues të Tregtisë të SHBA l,(U.S. Trade Representative)…Pozicion ne te cilin u konfirmua zyrtarisht më 19 qershor , 2013…dhe e mban edhe sot…

Career
Froman served as liaison of the American Bar Association’s Central and East European Law Initiative (CEELI) legal assistance program in Albania. He was also a member of the Forward Studies Unit of the European Commission in Brussels.[2]
Between January 1993 and December 1995, Froman was Deputy National Security Advisor for International Economic Affairs on the United States National Economic Council, a position held jointly at the National Security Council and the National Economic Council.[2] He was Deputy Assistant Secretary for Eurasia and the Middle East, where his work was related to economic policy towards the former Soviet Union, Central and Eastern Europe, as well as economic components of the Dayton Accords.[2] He was a Senior Fellow at the Council of Foreign Relations and a Resident Fellow at the German Marshall Fund.
Froman spent much of his career within the United States Department of the Treasury[2] where he rose to Chief of Staff under Robert Rubin in January 1997 and served until July 1999.
After the end of the Clinton administration in 2001, Froman followed Robert Rubin from the Treasury Department to Citigroup.[11] He was President and Chief Executive Officer of CitiInsurance and head of Emerging Markets Strategy at Citigroup, managing infrastructure and sustainable development investments.[2] He received more than $7.4 million from January 2008 to 2009 alone.[12]
Froman and Obama were not in touch after their time at Harvard until Obama’s 2004 Senate campaign, when Froman volunteered to advise Obama on policy; he introduced Obama to Robert Rubin.[11] In 2008 Froman served on a 12-member advisory board of the Obama campaign’s transition team,[2][13] and joined the White House for a second run in 2009. He went back to the position he held during the Clinton years, as deputy assistant to the president and deputy national security adviser for international economic affairs, at the National Security Council and the National Economic Council until 2013.
On May 2, 2013, Froman was nominated to serve as U.S. Trade Representative. Financial documents provided to the Senate Finance Committee showed he had nearly $500,000 in an offshore fund at Ugland House on the Cayman Islands, which Obama had once described as “the biggest tax scam in the world.” [14] In 2013 congressional testimony, Rep. Kevin Brady, Republican from Texas, criticized the EU low carbon fuel standard, where oil from tar-sands is classified by itself due to its higher carbon polluting impact compared to regular oil as a “discriminatory, environmentally unjustified” trade barrier, to which Froman responded, “I share your concerns,” followed by a description of his work to “press the Commission to take the views of . . . U.S. refiners under consideration.” Froman’s role as in the drafting of classified trade deals (made public by WikiLeaks) is under scrutiny by lawyers and politicians alike.[15] The U.S. Senate confirmed Froman in a 93-4 vote on June 19, 2013.[16] One of the four dissenting senators was Massachusetts Democrat Elizabeth Warren, who faulted Froman for “refusing to commit to […] standards of transparency in trade talks set by the George W. Bush administration”.[15] Environmental groups have criticized Froman for negotiating the Trans Pacific Partnership trade agreement in secret and that he “took care of his friends on Wall Street and in corporate board rooms at the expense of sound environmental and climate policy.” [17]
In 2017, Froman joined the Council on Foreign Relations as a distinguished fellow in the Washington, D.C. office.
In April 2018, he was hired by Mastercard Inc as Vice Chairman and President for Strategic Growth. [18]
In September 2018, he became a director of the Walt Disney Company. [19]
Since 2019, he has also been serving on the Transatlantic Task Force of the German Marshall Fund and the Bundeskanzler-Helmut-Schmidt-Stiftung (BKHS), co-chaired by Karen Donfried and Wolfgang Ischinger.[20]

Fatkeqesia jone ishte koha e komunizmit qe e mbylli vendin per me shume se 50 vjet, keshtu qe nuk eshte faji i te huajve qe nuk njohin vlerat e popullit tone. Kjo mbyllje beri qe shume vlera dhe individe te shquar te “vidhen” nga fqinjet. Eshte detyre e brezit tone qe te promovojme historine dhe traditat tona atje ku jetojme.
