Sali Berisha është i vetëdijshëm edhe vetë që nuk ka shpresa për t’iu hequr non grata nga SHBA.
Gjatë një konference për mediat sot, Berisha pranoi se nuk ka nisur ende ndonjë lobim për të kërkuar heqjen e këtij vendimi, pasi siç tha dhe ai ''nuk është përparësi e Trump ky problem''.
“Jo, unë nuk e kam filluar lobimin sepse janë gjithsej 14 ditë që ka filluar administrata e re. Dhe unë nuk besoj që në ditët më të para të saj, të jetë përparësi ky problem.
Kështu që unë jam i vetëdijshëm se duhet të plotësohet administrata, d.m.th është një proces konfirmimesh që duhet të kalojë në Kongres.
Dhe procesi i konfirmimeve të zyrtarëve nuk është vetëm për sekretarët e shtetit, por edhe për persona nën rangun e tyre”, tha Berisha.
Kujtojmë se në maj të vitit 2021, me firmë të Sekretarit të Shtetit Blinken, Sali Berisha dhe familja e tij u shpallën 'non grata' në Shtetet e Bashkuara të Amerikës për korrupsion madhor dhe minim të demokracisë.
