Në fillim kryeministri na tha se Edi Rama nuk votonte për heqjen e imunitetit sepse e pengonte klubi i tij i miliarderëve në Partinë Socialiste. Më pas na doli se Edi Rama nuk e voton heqjen e imunitetit sepse kërkon të pengojë marrjen e statusit kandidat për në Bashkimin Europian.
Me fraza tipike për formimin e tij soc-realist, tha se shqiptarët mezi presin votimin e heqjes së imunitetit, se fëmijët qajnë për bukë pse Edi Rama nuk pranon heqjen e imunitetit dhe se shqiptarët (e di ai këtë) do e ndëshkojnë me votë Edi Ramën.
Një pyetje që lind kur dëgjon Berishën duke folur në këtë mënyrë është: si ka mundësi që ky njeri na shet për arritje miratimin e ligjeve? Se deri më tani vetëm opozita është fajtore për bllokimin e integrimit, sepse nuk voton ligjet (edhe pse i ka votuar ato). A flitet ndonjëherë për zbatim ligjesh në këtë vend? Pastaj çfarë quan luftë ndaj korrupsionit ky njeri, kur fjalia e parë që i thonë në çdo progres raport të KE-së është se nuk po ndëshkohet asnjë zyrtar i lartë? Mos është dënuar kush dhe nuk e dimë ne? E keqja është se nuk po dëgjojmë të dënohet as edhe ndonjë peshk i vogël.
Por sa herë mbetet keq, Berisha nxjerr ndonjë nga zarat e tij të djathtë në Partinë Popullore Europiane, të cilët as nuk e mbajnë fare gojën, si miku i tij. Bëhet fjalë për politikanë, që Rama i quan të dorës së dytë si Luca Volonte, Joseph Daul, Bernd Posselt apo edhe Wolfgang Grossruck, që për ters ngjajnë edhe në fizik njësoj. E mbani mend në dhjetor vjet kur Joseph Daul shkaktoi një zemërim të vërtetë në Shqipëri kur tha se lideri i opozitës është i sëmurë.
Dje Fatmir Xhafaj i PS kishte thënë një deklaratë interesante: a do jetë Berisha në gjendje të vendosë një bast se nëse hiqet imuniteti, Shqipëria do marrë statusin?
